At Manaaya.com we believe in keeping our customers happy...always. We offer hassle-free returns. If any product that you receive does not meet your expectations do write to us at support@manaaya.com and we’ll surely assist you.



If the outer packing is damaged or tampered with, we advise the customer to check the quality/quantity of the product against the invoice, before accepting the package from the courier agency.

In case of any discrepancy, please leave a suitable remark at the time of receipt.

In case the product is damaged or with a manufacturing defect or a wrong product has been sent, kindly contact us at support@manaaya.com

Kindly retain all packaging materials and product/s until a set of instructions from us regarding the same is received.

In case of any other complaints regarding the delivered package, email us at support@manaaya.com within 24 hours of receiving the product.

Do not return any product(s) before receiving a confirmation email from Manaaya for the same. In case you wish to return a product, write to us at support@manaaya.com within 24 hours of receiving the product. Once we verify the damage or manufacturing defect, our customer care team will email you with details on how to return the said product.

All shipping costs of returning the defective products to Manaaya, over and above such amount paid by customers towards shipping charges while receiving the same from Manaaya are to be borne by the customer entirely.

All defective products are to be returned to Manaaya in its original condition, original packaging, with the invoice and sealed carefully. Please return your order as per the instructions given to you by the customer care team at the time of return confirmation.

Safe receipt of defective products by Manaaya is the sole responsibility of the customer.

Manaaya shall examine the products returned by the customer for such defects/variations as complained by the customer, and ensure remedial steps are taken immediately.

In case it is found on examination of product/invoice/order receipt that the error has occurred due to the customer, then Manaaya shall make the necessary modifications/alternations at the cost of the customer.


Manaaya will refund the paid amount only if the order at delivery is damaged, faulty or if the order is wrong.

No refund will be given by Manaaya if the order has been delivered with the color and size as selected by the customer while placing the order.

In the event of the error having occurred on the part of Manaaya, the product can be replaced or the amount will be refunded through store credit only.


In the case of multiple products being ordered, if for any reason whatsoever, Manaaya is unable to deliver a certain product/s, the customer shall be allowed to select an alternate product. However, in case the customer does not wish to select any alternate product/s, Manaaya will either provide a store credit to be used for future purchases or refund the amount for that particular product.


The customer can only cancel the order within 24 hours of placing the order. No cancellations will be entertained after 24 hours.

A maximum of 4 business days is required by us to initiate the refund once a cancellation request is received. You will be notified regularly of the refund status.


The credits against the customer's credit card account normally take three (3) business days to be processed. After this, the corresponding bank may take up to two (2) business days from the date of processing to show the said credits in the customer's account.


The details of the products or product specifications (weight, color, handwork details, size, etc.) as mentioned in Manaaya are only approximate values. Because products on Manaaya are designer made, handwoven, and intricately crafted and sourced from various parts of India, there may be variations in color and embellishment of the actual product against that as shown on the website. This is due to the nature of fabric dyes, weather at the time of dying, and differences in display outputs due to lighting, digital photography, color settings, and capabilities of computer monitors.

Apparel consisting of embellishments like beads and sequences usually has the tendency to come off. Even with perfect handling, care, and packaging this cannot be completely avoided.

Please note that we are not accepting any returns for stitched clothing, including Stitched Salwar Suits, Stitched Sarees & Stitched Sarees with custom blouse. We only accept returns for unstitched products.

At any point in time, the refunds will not exceed the actual value of the goods.

We will not refund the customs duties, shipping cost, and taxes, if applicable.

  • The details of the products or product specifications (for instance weight, color, handwork details, size, etc.) quoted with the product displays are only approximate values.
  • While every endeavor has been made to accurately reproduce colors, there may be minor variations in color of the actual product because of the nature of fabric dyes, weather at the time of dying and differences in display output due to lighting and digital photography and color settings and capabilities of monitors.
  • A customer must place an order keeping in mind this minor variation in color as seen on a computer screen against the actual color of the outfit received.
  • It is practically impossible for us to replicate the same colors on an outfit as seen on your monitor. A variation in the shade selected by you is considered as a normal practice as these garments have a tendency to reflect different shades of a color under different light and weather, type of camera used for photography or type and settings on the computer monitor.

While ordering on internet, we suggest that customers should be extra careful of following -

  1. Red, maroon and orange colors have a higher tendency to reflect a different shade than other colors. For example even if you yourself try to photograph from a digital camera or scan a red garment, in most of the cases it will show either as maroon or orange on the computer monitor and vice versa. Though imaging technology has advanced, still no fool proof solution to this problem is available at the moment.
  2. Many a times green and blue shades also overlap. same is the case with offwhite, white and cream colors. Sea Green color sometimes looks Aqua blue and the other way around.
  3. Some fabrics like raw silk, khadi silk, cotton silk, south cotton, brocade have a textured effect where we can see the weaving & threads are visible in different directions which is a inherent characteristic or feature of that fabric and proof of its authenticity. These are not defects. This raw finish is the beauty of these fabrics.
  4. Handcrafted, hand dyed, hand printed, hand painted, hand embroidered, handloom, hand weaved products will always have minor differences when we compare them as they are not made by machines. Each piece will be unique. Handicraft artisans always try their best to make each piece better than the previous one. So, the product will always have minor variation keeping the same theme constant in artistic manner. The raw finish of the handicrafts cannot be compared with machine finished products as this raw finish is the beauty of the handicrafts items.



Beads/Stones and Sequences Missing or Coming off we believe that customers who are ordering items with sequence and other beaded embroidery are aware of the fact that these shiny embellishments have a tendency to come off. Even with the best of handling and care this cannot be avoided altogether. Many a times during strict physical checking at the customs during transit, more than usual sequences and beads come off. Many a times it may happen that you open a box and find some pieces falling down on the floor. Or you wear the dress and in few hours you might loose some of them. Do not panic or over-react because if you look with a magnifying glass at any such dresses / sarees worn by others, you will most certainly find some pieces missing or almost at a state of falling down.






Color and Description Discrepancy

the apparel description on the website contains details and product specifications which are approximate values, closest to reality. While we strive to be accurate in showcasing colors there still may be minor variations because of the light and settings during photography and also the color settings and properties of various monitors. Other details like weight, work details and size may vary slightly as well. Hence the customer should keep in mind the slight variation when placing the order online. Manaaya.com believes that every customer placing an order is absolutely aware of these minor variations that may occur in with respect to the actual color of the outfit received.

Embellishment related Issues

Apparel consisting of embellishments like beads and sequences usually has the tendency to come off.  Even with perfect handling, care and packaging this cannot be completely avoided. During physical transit, some of them may come loose, hence if you see such situations arise when you unpack or wear your attire, do not worry as it is a common issue.
